Great product July 19, 2022 Reviewer: Michael Bushior from Somers, CT United States   I instalked this unit to replace a 5 year old Dometic 8k btu unit that had a leak in the evaporator. Water hoses were both 5/8 inch that was easy. The existing air duct was 5 inch so I made an adopter plate to interface to the new unit. The ground screw was a bit too short to attach both ground wires to so I had to use a wire nut. Very happy to see a remote temp and humidity sensor. Love the hand held remote, but it should have a backlighted display. I am awaiting a replacement as the battery door does not close fully. Overall very happy with the unit. Nice Replacement May 23, 2022 Reviewer: John Bokenkamp from St Pete Beach, FL United States   The unit is more compact than my original unit so it made for a nice fit. It is quiet running and doesn't draw many amps. The remote shows the set temp and does not show the ambient temp. I guess that will be fine. I am very happy with the unit.
